Welcome to the Rocket Cheerleading Inc. program!  We hope that you will find our organization to be both family friendly and family oriented, and holding the highest respect for individual growth as well as team growth.  Our coaches and staff are dedicated to providing a quality program that encourages children to work to the best of their individual ability, as well as learn to be a team player and learn to work as a team.

Rocket Cheerleading Inc. is an All Star Competitive Cheerleading group that began in 1999 under GymTrix, Inc.  That first year our thirteen member Junior All Star team, coached by Karen Smith, Raymie Flores and Lindsay Volmer, competed locally as well as nationally in Orlando, Florida.  Their positive season resulted in the addition of the Youth All Star team, known as Mini Rockets, as well as an additional coach, Lindy Bradford.  In 2001, Rocket Cheerleading added an elementary team, known as the Pee Wee Rockets.  Together, these three teams swept the Federation of Christian Cheerleaders Championship at Knotts Berry Farm, as well as receiving numerous other first, second and third place victories.  Last season, our 2002/2003 teams changed names to Youth Rockets, Junior Prep Rockets and Junior Rockets to more appropriately describe our teams.  The Junior Prep and Junior Rocket teams placed second and third respectively at the Cheerleaders of America National Championship in Las Vegas.  This year will bring about some more changes for Rocket Cheerleading.  We are welcoming three new coaches (Amber Bunting, Kirsten Tellez and Tabitha Pellin), adding a Senior Open Team and all of the Rocket teams will be practicing out of the new GymTrix gym in Alpine, which includes a full size cheerleading floor and state of the art gymnastics equipment.

          Competitive cheerleading is one of Americas fastest growing sports with divisions ranging from Pee Wee to College.  More boys and girls are joining this sport each year, but because competitive cheerleading can also be costly, some are either unable to or reluctant to join.  Rocket Cheerleading has strived to be and has become one of the most affordable competitive cheerleading programs in all of San Diego county.
